MY First Solo Trip : Lumbini, Nepal

Photo Slide

No one to talk to, nobody to keep hearing and pretend you are paying attention even at times when you’re fed up hearing boring stories from people you know. Well that’s what  I imagined solo trips to be where you’ll be talking with one self, making decision for self and doing anything crazy you want  without having to come up with logic and answering every why. Let’s match my expectations vs reality as I recently visited Lumbini all on my own. I chose the place as it’s a very easy place to start your solo trip without risk of being eaten by leopard without getting noticed. More than that, it’s  the Birth place of one of the Buddha , Gautam Buddha to be precise famous for his philosophies. So I started my solo trip experience with one hell of a peaceful place. Let’s first get into the photos I clicked:

There’s no doubt that solo traveling has its own perks. But the biggest downside I experienced was lack of anyone to take proper pictures of yours in that place as I love getting clicked at times. Though Peaceful is nice for some time, having no one to talk to for extreme long period of time turned out to be a kind of hollow feeling for me. So I’d like to suggest you to have a solo trip to only when you really don’t want any kind of human intervention in your life which turned out to be a very difficult experience for me as there’d be no one to share the common experience and stories made. So, I’m not attempting any solo trips for few years at least 🤣 .
