Feminism is no more a new word coming to the year 2021, at least for me its quite a common word I get to hear frequently. Somewhere deep Inside I get a feeling as If people have quite a different definition for this exact word as per their perception and understanding. So , Targeting the World Women’s Day 2021 I threw a question to my friends on a social media on their take on the word “Feminism”. I was very surprised to see many of my friends avoiding ( or trying to avoid) the conversation regarding feminism just not to get in any kinds of “unnecessary long discussions”. So, as per their suggestion I decided to Share their response maintaining the anonymity. I will just put all the opinions and leave the rest to you to analyze, agree or disagree. So, here are the replies I got to the question ” What is Feminism for you?”.
For me, Feminism is struggle to maintain balance or level between male and female rights
I don’t know wtf is feminism, but there are 2 types of Feminists:
1. Who can define feminism and can be real feminist
2. Who keep using it as a weapon to either get themselves higher or downgrade others.
Feminism is respecting and Supporting Women’s uniqueness
I don’t know what is feminism… Its all about I can work on my own just bcoz I am a women I don’t want any sort of advantage from that…My work should be respected not my gender.

Empowerment of women not in a way of making them equal to men as every gender is unique but making women capable and happy enough to live a self sufficed life
A right given on the basis of sexes for the prosperity and provide equal opportunities for the well being of female. But for securing the rights of female, I don’t think that doing different types of rallies and downgrading another gender is the correct way to solve the issue of conflict between the equality and equity. In today’s world everyone is capable , rather than enjoying the feminism or gender equity lets move with free competition..

Feminism is advocacy for equality of genders in action rather than words where women are treated not like objects and paid equally as their male counterparts,
